We love Art and Craft in our school!The six strands in the Primary School Visual Arts Curriculum are Drawing, Paint & Colour, Print, Clay, Construction and Fabric & Fibre.As you walk through the corridors and classrooms, you will see lovely art displays.We enjoy entering art competitions such as the Texaco Art Competition and also Doodle 4 Google.We also encourage local craftspeople to come in and share their expertise with the children at various times of the year.

Over the past four weeks, Ms. Dawn Cobbe has been teaching the children in 2nd and 3rd class 3-4 lessons a day. In art 4th, 5th and 6th class designed these beautiful clay tiles. They flattened the clay and then etched designs into them. When they had dried they painted them in bright, cheerful colours! Here they are on display in their classroom.
April has been a short month however the Junior Classroom have covered a lot of new and exciting topics! To begin with they have been busy learning about “Frogs”.
