We have an active Parents’ Association with 8 parents on the committee. As a school and staff we try to have a variety of fundraising activities planned for each year. They include bag-packing in a local supermarket, a sponsored cycle for children and adults, non-uniform days and other events. The senior classes enjoy organising our annual coffee morning and cake sale.
A Big Thank You to everybody who recently supported our School’s Book Fair. The total amount of purchases made was €955! As a result of this, the school receives €573 in book commission to help further stock our classroom libraries 🙂
Wandesforde National School’s Annual Book Fair opens on Friday, 22nd March until Wednesday, 27th March 2019. In preparation for our Sponsored Cycle, the children participated in Cycling Ireland’s fun skills programme called Sprocket Rocket!
