In preparation for our Sponsored Cycle, the children participated in Cycling Ireland’s fun skills programme called Sprocket Rocket!
The children all brought in their own bicycles for the workshop which taught them the 4 main skills of cycling, they being: Cornering, Pedalling, Braking and Balance.
Thank you to Seamus and Charlie for all their hard work and enthusiasm on the day. The children thoroughly enjoyed the programme and it really set them up for their big day on Saturday!
Thanks for this – great to see – sad this generation don’t have as much liberty to ride their bikes as we did in the past.
