4th, 5th and 6th Class have been learning all about Advent this week. We read some information telling us all about the customs and origins of Advent. We wrote up the information we learned.
We also read about the Advent Wreath. We learned why it is circular and how many candles are on it and their colours. We then went out to the school grounds and collected some evergreen leaves such as ivy, holly and fir branches. Each pupil then put some leaves into an oasis to make our own wreath.
Finally we have our Advent Calendar. Each day a pupil gets a chance to pick a treat from it!
