We had 2 sponsored cycles for Fundraising in 2010. On the first day, everyone in the school participated in the sponsored cycle, it was great fun and afterwards we had a barbecue in the school grounds and played football.
2 weeks later, about 40 cyclists cycled 100 km and some parents, teachers and grandparents cycled the 30 km route.
Some children and parents were at the school with sandwiches, cakes and hot food to welcome the cyclists when they had finished and cheer them on. Some parents travelled the route to stop traffic and to provide the cyclists with water and food on the route.
We are going to have another sponsored cycle next year and are looking forward to it already.
