On Friday March 22nd we held our annual Coffee Morning and Cake Sale and this year 3rd class also had a Book Sale. The event was a great success, we raised €753.24 from the Coffee Morning and Cake Sale and €192.36 from the Book Sale, giving a grand total of €945.60!

All the money raised goes towards the cost of the school tour.
A special thank you also to the parents and pupils who baked such wonderful cakes, buns, biscuits and treats and sent in books for the sale. Your support is much appreciated!

That’s a great result and it was lovely to see all the children being so enthusiastic and taking so much pride in the event. I got some nice books to read over the Easter too 🙂
Well done Ms. Power, Ms. Dennehy & 3rd, 4th, 5th & 6th Classes! You should be very proud of yourselves for hosting a great coffee morning & cake/book sale. The money raised is testament to all your hard work as well as the support you were given by parents in both preparing food for the day as well as purchasing lots of treats on the day! Well done for raising such a large sum of money which will greatly reduce the cost of each child’s school tour to Dunmore East Adventure Centre this May!!
I was very impressed with how organised everything was, the children were great, very polite, efficient and engaging. Well done to everyone involved.
