Winter Work in the Senior Room

As always there has been lots happening in our room since we came back in January. Below are some of the activities and work we have completed.

We looked back at our favourite moments from 2015 and wrote some New Years Resolutions for 2016.

4th class were working on the topic of ‘chance’ in maths and carried out lots of activities noting the outcome each time. They also predicted the outcome of different scenarios.

They also wrote character descriptions of a character called ‘Summer’ who they read about in English.

An Aimsir is the topic we have been learning about in Gaeilge and we wrote about different types of weather in the pictures.

In geography we learned all about Italy. We wrote up information about Italy and designed some tasty Italian Menus as well!!

We created these colourful butterflies in art using chalk pastels.

In art we have also been learning how to sew! Here are some of the stitches and patterns that we have learned in the last few weeks.
