The Junior Classroom celebrate Autumn & Halloween this October!

October has been busy with “Autumn” and “Halloween” activities for the Junior Classroom.

We made our own paper plate owls and clay hedgehogs to support work covered in SESE.

In preparation for Halloween, the children made their own “Personalised Pumpkins” and “Spooky Spiders” in Art using paints and pastels.

The children also enjoyed eating “Bairín Breac” and making their own masks to support the Irish vocabulary they have been learning for Halloween in Gaeilge!

Guess Who?

We also made our own Halloween Cup Cakes and had great fun decorating them with spooky jellies and sweet toppings!

Finally, we all enjoyed a Homemade Halloween Jelly Cake packed with little spooky surprises and served with icecream, wafers and chocolate sauce!

 Yum Yum!!

Happy Halloween everybody! We hope you have a lovely holiday and we’ll see you in November!

Great work done in the Junior room. Tadhg really enjoyed his cupcake and was very proud of his Halloween art work up around the house.
