Science in the Junior Classroom this February!

During February, the Junior Classroom have been learning all about light and colour.

We first looked through a prism to see that white light is made up of many colours. Can you see the rainbow colours?

The children then made their own Colour Wheels and had fun spinning them on their pencils to blend the colours back to make a single colour.

In Art, the children had fun mixing 2 Primary Colours to make a Secondary Colour. Did you know that blue & red makes purple?

We showed our colour mixing experiment in the form of a very big and colourful ice-cream cone!! Mmmm 🙂
