Fantastic February Work in 4th, 5th & 6th Class!

Although a short month February has been a busy time for 4th, 5th and 6th class. In art we painted our silhouettes, can you guess who’s who?!

We also painted cold colours such as blue and purple to create a sky and then cut out a white winter tree to create these winter tree silhouettes.

We extended pictures from magazines, matching colours as closely as we could using paints.

In English 4th class read a story called The Apple Tree and created these pictures after reading very carefully to make sure they included everything that got stuck to the tree!

We also studied  a poem called The Moon by Robert Louis Stevenson and in groups created these moon collages and stuck down all the things the moon shines on around them.
