October in the Senior Room

Another month has flown by in the Senior Room and we have completed lots of work in the various subjects we learn.

In English 4th Class read all about the first cars invented and wrote up information about this topic.

5th and 6th Class created comic book strips based on a story they read in English.

In Science and Geography we looked at trees and wrote up information on various trees found in Ireland.

In Visual Arts we created ‘Autumn Leaf Fireworks’ painted in bright Autumn colours.

We also painted sunsets and designed city skylines with a Hallowe’en witch flying by!

The Rugby World Cup is now almost over and 4th, 5th and 6th class did lots of work about this topic. We wrote acrostic poems, wrote up information about the game of rugby and the countries taking part in it.
