March Fun in the Middle Room!

We have certainly had a very busy month in 1st, 2nd & 3rd Class!  To celebrate St. Patrick’s Day, we dressed up in green and also made snakes and lucky leprechauns!

In English, we read the poem “Daffodils” by William Wordsworth.  We decorated the poem with these beautiful Spring flowers!

In Geography, 1st & 2nd Class are learning about map-making.  They became cartographers for the day and created their own maps of towns and included features that they would like to have in the town where they live!

In Visual Arts, we discussed colours that complement each other.  To show this, we coloured Peacocks using metallic pencils.  Don’t they look very pretty?

To show our Mums that we love them very much, we made “Paper Flower Bouquets”.  The children also have another surprise and a card to say thank you to all the mums for all they do!  We hope you all have a lovely, restful (!) day on Sunday!

Well done 1st, 2nd & 3rd Class on a great month’s work!
