Junior Classroom Activities this October!

October is always a very action packed month in school with  Autumn and Halloween Activities.

The children practised their cutting skills while making their own “Lollipop Lions” for the letter “l” in English

During the month the children enjoyed learning about Autumn in S.E.S.E.  and made their own “Mini Fall Books” and Autumnal Trees.

As well as this, the children went on an Autumn Scavenger Hunt in the Discovery Park.

They identified all the leaves, seeds and nuts of Autumn on their worksheet and as a treat they enjoyed a short visit to the Elf Village too!

As a Friday treat the children enjoyed decorating their own cupcake with chocolate drops and mini marshmallows!

October would not be the same without all the Halloween preparations!

The children made their own Halloween Masks and Pumpkins…

and they dressed up in Fantastic Halloween Costumes!!

The children designed their own cover for a  “Spooky Spell Book” in English

Finally in Science the children made their own Ghost Blowers using straws in support of  work covered on air movement.

Well done once again to all the children on a great month’s work!

Happy Halloween and enjoy your well deserved Mid Term Break 🙂
