Church Trail at St. Mary’s Church, Castlecomer

On Monday, 12th March, the Junior Room visited St. Mary’s Church in Castlecomer to complete a church trail on work covered to date in Religion.

The children worked in pairs to observe and record the features within a church. Here are some photographs of the children participating in the Church Trail!

The children really liked the stained glass window depicting the story of the Lost Sheep. It reminded them of Ms. Power’s assembly last Friday when they got the opportunity to see and pet a newborn baby lamb named “Lucky!”

The children worked so well on the Church Trail so we took a well deserved trip to the Discovery Park’s Playground! Have a look at all the fun they had!

It’s lovely the way they get to have fun at the Discovery Park when they are out and about on various activities. Lovely for them to study the stained glass too
