March has definitely been our busiest month this year! We’ve had lots of celebrations to prepare for like Mother’s Day and St. Patrick’s Day and alongside this, we had 2 art competitions to enter as well as our usual curriculum work!! Swimming lessons commence after Easter for all children on Wednesday, 10th April 2013 at Graiguecullen Swimming Pool in Carlow from 1p.m.-1.45p.m. The children will travel by bus to the pool and will receive 8 lessons in total, finishing on Wednesday, 29th May 2013.
On Friday March 22nd we held our annual Coffee Morning and Cake Sale and this year 3rd class also had a Book Sale. The event was a great success, we raised €753.24 from the Coffee Morning and Cake Sale and €192.36 from the Book Sale, giving a grand total of €945.60! The boys and girls worked very…

Recently 5th and 6th class were reading various lemon based recipes in their English reader. We decided to follow the recipe to make lemon bars for our class.
