On Thursday, 4th October, Wandesforde School was very privileged to have members of the Kilkenny Hurling Team visit our school.
It was an eventful day as all the children cheered on Kilkenny and waved their flags whilst wearing Vintage Clothing for our Bishop’s Charity Tour! The photographs below are proof of how delighted the children were to meet the players and of course, hold the Liam McCarthy Cup!!
A big thank you to the Kilkenny Hurling Team for taking time out of their busy schedule to visit us all at Wandesforde School!
Sounds like they all had a great day esp when combined with their vintage dress up day. I thought the teachers would have been dressing up as well 😉
