Our School Tour at Dunmore East Adventure Centre

On Thursday, 30th May 2013, the whole school travelled to Dunmore East Adventure Centre for their annual school tour. The weather didn’t disappoint us with blue skies and warm sunshine all day long!

The whole school participated in both land and water based activities.

Archery proved to be a real hit with the children. The full-filled challenges on the target board kept the children focussed and brought lots of unusual results at the end of the activity!!

After this, believe it or not, the children were allowed to climb the walls in the Adventure Centre!! This proved to be a very enjoyable activity for all the children as they all got to experience an hour in the life of Spiderman and Spiderwoman!

At 12 o’clock, the children all sat together to eat their lunch outside overlooking the water.

The water based activities proved to be most enjoyable for all the children. They pedalled the pedal boats, paddled the kayaks, bounced on the water trampoline and enjoyed the thrill of the jetboat ride!

The tour was a great day for the children and teachers alike and the children’s behaviour was excellent from start to finish. A big thank you to the teachers and staff for all their assistance on the tour.

We hope you all had a memorable day 🙂
