Wandesforde National School wishes to thank everybody who made the annual cycle on 8th June such a success! We were delighted to see over 125 cyclists set off at 9am on the 70km and 100km routes! At 11 am, there was a great buzz around the school with families from the community as well as the children in our school set off for the 5km route and the 30km routes! There were some runners also who completed the 5km route. We hope you enjoyed the day. So far we have raised well over €8,400, some of which will go towards purchasing games consoles for St. John’s Ward in Crumlin Children’s Hospital, while also supporting Conor Parr who is undergoing treatment there. Thank you all so much for your donations, raffle prizes, food and all the help and support on the day itself!
