Summer Fun in the Senior Room

Another year has come and gone in the Senior Room. We have completed lots of work in different areas in the past few weeks. Take a look and see what we have been up to!

In Art we created these colourful hand print parrots and painted in a jungle background.

We also drew fruit and vegetables from observation in colour and black and white.

Summer fashion inspired us to create these colourful flip flops and we added real sand to the pictures to give it that realistic beach feeling!

In History we spent time learning all about life in the 1960s. We looked at fashion, music, schools and pastimes.

The sun was a subject we discovered lots about in Geography and Science. We also created bright sunset collages in Art.

In Science we also learned all about our lungs and breathing and  labelled diagrams of the lungs. We did experiments to see how our breathing changed after exercise.

In SPHE we looked at all the positive things which pupils have achieved over the years. They created these ‘Achievement Shields’ showing their skills, talents and achievements over the years.

Finally we had our End of Year Service and presentation to 6th class. We wish Rebecca, Nicole, Alan, Emma, Ashley, Kate, Amy & Dylan all the best as they leave Wandesforde and begin secondary school next year.

Have an enjoyable summer everyone! 🙂
