April Arrives in the Senior Room!

April has been another busy month for the pupils of 4th, 5th and 6th class.

In science we looked at the earthworm and found out lots of information about it. We then made our own wormery! We made layers of sand and soil and put 4 worms in it. After a week we could see the worms had mixed up the sand and soil and created tunnels through the soil and sand.

In music we listened to a song called Ripples in the Rockpool and drew these pictures.

In art we drew and painted a daffodil from observation.

We also made seaside themed window pictures. Here are some of them on display!

We also finished reading our novel Holes, which everyone enjoyed. Before we read the final few chapters we drew these magic ball predictions showing how we thought the story would end!
