Go, Kilkenny, Go!!
During the first week of September, the Junior Classroom have been busy preparing “Cat Masks” to support Kilkenny in the All Ireland Hurling Final this Sunday, 9th September.
We had great fun modelling our cat masks ….
….parading down the street with our cat masks on
and best of all waving our cat masks at traffic passing outside the school gates!!

I hadn’t realised that the match was this Sunday until I drove into Castlecomer the other day and saw all the bunting outside the school. Just as well we live in Laois or we might be hounded out 🙂
Good luck to Kilkenny, I’m sure they will win with the Infants rooting for them 🙂
It looks like we’ll have to wave our flags again another day for Kilkenny! The infants will love to hear that news:)

yes, they’ll be able to give them a second outing. Wave them harder next time and they might win 😉
