Basketball Lessons
Since Christmas, the whole school have had basketball lessons with Joe Byrne. The children really enjoyed learning all the skills of basketball and playing games! Here are some photographs of the players in action! Guess who?

As well as covering all the strands of the Primary School Curriculum, we love to play other sports too!We enjoy basketball, hockey, rounders, hurling, swimming, spikeball, football, soccer and gymnastics.We have a sponsored 5 mile cycle for the whole school in May/June of each year.This year, there will be a combined adult/children’s cycle around Castlecomer.The adults have the option of cycling 30km or 100km!
Swimming
Swimming Lessons for all children commence on Wednesday, 4th May for the duration of 8 weeks, finishing on Wednesday, 22nd June. The children will travel by bus from Wandesforde school to Graiguecullen Swimming Pool in Carlow.
