On Friday, 23rd March, the children in 2nd – 6th Class in Wandesforde National School will be hosting their Annual Coffee Morning/Cake Sale and Book Sale in the school from 10 am – 12pm.  All are welcome to come along and purchase some delicious home-made treats on sale as well as some bargain books. Why not sit back and enjoy a cuppa and some treats at our coffee morning with your family and friends?  We look forward to seeing you all on the 23rd March!  Thank you in advance for your support!

Applications are now being accepted for Wandesforde National School for September 2018.  The closing date for applications is the 31st March 2018.  If you would like an “Intention to Apply” form, please contact the Acting Principal, Ms. Davina Wilson on (056) 4441517.

A Happy New Year to all the children, teachers, staff and families in Wandesforde National School!  We hope you had a great Christmas break with plenty of rest and relaxation.  The School Christmas Play “Superstar” on the 19th December was a huge success and well done to all the children and their teachers on a great night’s performance.  Thank you to everyone who supported our raffle, which raised €657 for the school.  We look forward to another great year of learning here at Wandesforde so keep an eye on our website for details of all that’s happening 🙂

The excitement is building in the school as we prepare for our Christmas Play “Superstar”! The children will put on a performance of the play on Tuesday, 19th December at 7pm in the Wandesforde Hall.  There will be a raffle on the night in aid of the school and some festive treats for all the family after the play!  We look forward to seeing you on the night!

A huge thank you to everyone who supported our sponsored cycle on Saturday, 10th June 2017.  So far we have raised a total of €6,920 but there is still money coming in!  Thank you to everyone who cycled, stewarded, cooked, supervised, drove or helped in any way.  We appreciate your time and support and look forward to donating some of the funds raised to Teac Tom.
