Fundraising events are held throughout the year and are organised between the Principal and the Parents’ Association. This can range from a bag packing session in Dunnes Stores to Carol Singing in the Discovery Park.

The main fundraising activity each year, is the Sponsored Cycle in June.  Children (from 1st – 6th Class) can choose to cycle/walk a 4-mile route (The Wellie Race Route) with some parents. Outside of this, many cycling clubs/triathlon clubs register on the day to cycle either a 30 km, 70km or a 100 km route.

Following the cycle, refreshments are provided by the parent body back at school and there are lots of activities such as the bouncy castle and the Icycle Bicycle to keep the children occupied.

The school looks forward to hosting this event each year and monies raised help to not only support the school but also a charity based organisation.
