Another Successful Book Week!
Book Week at Wandesforde National School continues to be as successful as ever. This year, Irish author, Liam Farrell visited our school during Book Week to further support the children’s interest and enthusiasm in literature. Below is just a glimpse of Liam’s fun and interactive workshops with the children!

Congratulations to all the winners who each got to pick a free book from the Book Fair. Well done to all the children for dressing up so creatively during Book Week. Your costumes were so creative and we hope you enjoyed being in character for the day!!
Finally, our Book Fair total this year was a whopping €849.17. Thank you to all the families who supported the Book Fair. A big thank you also to all the school staff and children who helped out in any way during Book Week. Your support is very much appreciated!. The school now look forward to receiving €510 in Book Commission for our classroom libraries!!
