Ethos

Wandesforde School is under Church of Ireland management. It is a community where all the pupils are equally valued and respected. While we take pride in our Christian heritage, we also give due recognition to children of all other religious beliefs and none.

Moral values such as honesty, truthfulness, justice, fairness, sensitivity to others and civic responsibility are nourished and developed. We aim to prepare our pupils for their place in a modern multicultural society by actively promoting equality and by celebrating the diversity we have within our school community.

We cherish and foster positive, co-operative relationships between teachers, staff, pupils, parents and the wider community.
