December Fun in the Middle Room!

Christmas is almost over and we hope you all had a very relaxing time with family and friends!  The children in 1st, 2nd and 3rd Class were very busy during the month of December as you will see from the following pictures!

In English the children in 3rd class were learning all about “Hair”!  As a poetry exercise, the children had to write a poem using “hair” words and ensure the words were styled in a hair style!

The 1st class children wrote a poem about a monster called “Rocky”.  This was a joint effort and the children then drew their own monsters!

We wrote our letters to Santa and posted them in the local post office!  We were very lucky to receive a letter from Santa, despite his busy schedule!  Rudolph signed the letter also!

We had fun making Christmas cookies!

We made Advent Stars using pasta shapes and beads and then sprayed them gold or silver!

We made Christmas cards and snowflakes!  Did you know that no 2 snowflakes are the same?

We also made Christmas decorations and put them in gift bags for our family and friends!

Santa paid us a visit before the holidays!  I hope you all were well behaved and got a few surprises!

Happy New Year to you all!
