Christmas is coming!

December has been a very busy month for 4th, 5th and 6th class. We have been doing lots of different activities in different subject areas in preparation for Christmas. Below is some of the work we have done.

At the beginning of December we made clay pencil holders.

We then painted Christmas stars and made window decorations. Here they are on display!

In maths 4th class have been learning about lines of symmetry and drew these symmetrical Christmas pictures.

Last Thursday we went to see the film Rise of the Guardians as a Christmas treat! In English we wrote our own reviews of the film.

Sa rang Gaeilge scríobh rang 4 scéal – An Chéad Nollaig.

In Assembly we learned all about Advent. Here is our Advent Calendar. Each day a child picks a treat from it.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to everyone!
