September Fun in 1st, 2nd & 3rd Class!

A warm welcome back to everyone from 1st, 2nd and 3rd class pupils!  We have had a very busy month and from the following photos, you can see what we have been up to!

We wrote all about our Summer Holidays, what we did, who we saw and where we went…

The children then drew pictures of their happy Summer memories for all to see…

In Geography, we learned all about the various types of houses people all over the world lived in.  We discussed the materials used in some houses.  After looking at some pictures of mud houses and ice houses, we came to the conclusion that we are very lucky to have warm, comfortable homes to live in.. We did get the chance, however, to draw our dream houses!  There are lots of mansions with swimming pools, slides and so much more!

In SPHE, we discussed and worked in groups to devise 5 tips for a healthy lifestyle.  The children then collaborated all the tips onto posters for all to see….

Here is all their work on display….
