Junior Classes make Jelly this June!!

In preparation for our Annual School Sports’ Day this June, the Junior Classroom made jelly to help them cool down and rehydrate after their hard efforts in all the races!!

We first had to cut up the jelly into smaller pieces!

We then had to add hot water to melt the jelly!

The jelly mixture now had to be stirred to melt all the jelly pieces!!

Once all the jelly was melted in the hot water, we then added cold water to the jelly mixture!

At the end of all our preparation, we had a bowl of strawberry jelly, orange jelly and raspberry jelly which had to be put into the fridge overnight to set!

The following day the jelly went down a treat with the children and of course there were little extras added like ice-cream, sprinkles, wafers and chocolate sauce to make it all the more delicious!!

What a nice treat. I was envious of you all eating the jelly after sports’ day! You all deserved it after all those races 🙂
