Lucky the Lamb visits Wandesforde National School!

On Friday, 9th March, we welcomed a very special visitor to the school!  Lucky the Lamb was born on Thursday, 8th March on the Neale’s Farm.  We all got to pet Lucky, who was very well behaved and didn’t show any nerves towards all the boys and girls who were rubbing him down!  Thank you Jackie, for bringing in Lucky the Lamb.  It was a perfect ending to an assembly based on the parable of “The Lost Sheep”, led by Ms. Power and read by 4th, 5th and 6th class pupils.  Here are some lovely photos…..

How lovely for the children to see the pet lamb and it must have enjoyed getting so much attention. I hope it didn’t wee on anyone 😉

It was lovely to meet “Lucky” and of course the Junior Classroom were delighted to be able to pet him! It was a lovely surprise for the school! A big thank you to Jackie for bringing Lucky in to visit us!
