May Activities in the Infant Classroom!

Not only did we learn about Minibeasts during May but we also learned a lot about houses. We even got to make our own 3D houses!

Gavin brought in his play mat and we all got to place our houses on it!

We will be advertising these houses and all their features soon when we all become auctioneers at the Wandesforde Estate Agents!

We also painted our clay nameplates which we made with Hilary Jenkinson earlier in the month. We used metallic paints to give them an extra sparkle!!

Summer Stained Glass Windows was another activity we did during May. We coloured in summer pictures and then we put baby oil on the back of them to make them see through. We can’t wait for our Summer Holidays!

In English, we wrote and designed our own picture story. Some of them are about our family, others are about our friends! We really enjoyed practising our handwriting and drawing the pictures!

We also were busy working on the topics of  “Bia” agus “ag Siopadóireacht” in Gaeilge. The children created their own “boscaí lóin” and their own “dinnéar” in support of work covered on these topics!
